About
Welcome to KIYAH HOUSE, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to individuals with disabilities and their families/caretakers. Our mission is to incorporate ways to cultivate the empowerment of disabled individuals and their caretakers. We will achieve our organizations goals through the development of 3 Pillars of services.

Mission
KIYAH HOUSE offers a "Caretaker-Centered model. This model emphasizes the importance of ensuring primary caregivers are supported, healthy and well-equipped to handle their responsibilities. We aim to provide holistic support to both the caregiver and the dependent operating on the principle that the well-being of the caregiver is crucial to the well-being of the dependent. At KIYAH HOUSE, we believe when the caregivers are offered supportive resources within our 3 Pillar service system, they are better able to provide compassionate, effective and reliable care to the dependent.
Vision
KIYAH HOUSE strives to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most ensuring that every disabled person and their caretakers feel valued, respected and supported during their unique journeys of life, love and the pursuit of happiness. KIYAH HOUSE will foster a community where diversity is celebrated and supported.
The recipient and the giver of care must receive comprehensive support which can help mitigate mental and physical health risks, alleviate financial and social burdens, and ultimately enhance the quality of care provided to people with disabilities. Investing in supportive care is beneficial for society as a whole.
